Welcome to Stockholm's official convention bureau

We co-ordinate marketing initiatives for international meetings in Stockholm as well as provide support for planners - free of charge, of course. The Convention Bureau includes Congress Stockholm that works with association meetings and Meet Stockholm that works exclusively with the corporate meeting industry.

The ESC Congress is back in Stockholm

Stockholm is once again the ”the Heart of Europe” when the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) will host its annual congress in the Swedish capital. With its more than 28,000 participants this is a major event in the world of cardiology as well as the largest medical congress in Europe. The congress will take place at Stockholmsmässan, 28 August – 1 September.

Stockholm is one of the few European cities which have the capacity to host conferences of this size and we are pleased and proud to also be able to welcome the European Association of the Study of Diabetes (EASD) with its 18,000 participants to Stockholm in September.

The worlds leading sustainable airport

Stockholm - the first European Green Capital

Stockholm is the winner of European Green Capital Award 2010. That has been decided by the new EU initiative. The award marks a city's wish and capability to solve environmental problems in order to both improve the quality of life of its citizens and reduce the contribution it makes to the global environment as a whole. Everything from water protection plans, to public transport and work to omit fossil fuel emissions was reviewed. In all aspects, Stockholm is considered a front-runner.
