Welcome to Nalen.
Nalen is a unique building, very much the only one of its kind. Painstakingly renovated in order to preserve all its original charm, but at the same time ideal for modern shows, celebrations and conferences. At Nalen, the new meets the old, the magnificent meets the intimate. The walls simply exude atmosphere in this historical building, and there are fantastic opportunities for flexible solutions.
Celebration
Nalen has a long and fascinating history. The building was completed in 1888. It was used for a range of public arrangements from the very outset – from a cycling school to Christmas parties, bazaars, political meetings and sporting events. From the mid-1930s to the late 1960s Nalen was the hottest place to be in Stockholm, perhaps all of Sweden. All the big names of the time appeared here.
All the rooms in this building were made for celebrations in all their forms, and here you too have the option of tailoring your celebration to the numbers of people attending, what you’d like to eat and – not least – what you’d like to do; from informal mingling to a sit-down gala dinner.
The Grand Hall prides itself on having one of the biggest dancefloors in Stockholm. Most things can be moved, converted and changed before a celebration. Technically, this building offers almost unlimited resources in terms of sound and lighting. As far as we’re concerned, having a live band and DJ is a natural part of any celebration.
Meetings

At Nalen, we have four meeting rooms of various sizes. From Trocadero, which is ideal for smaller gatherings, to the Grand Hall, which can accommodate 400 seated guests. All these rooms are equipped with the very latest technology, and if you need any special equipment we can organise that as well. When you arrange your conference at Nalen, you can be sure you’ve made a good decision that your friends and colleagues will truly appreciate.
