Within Stockholm
Stockholm has an extensive and well-organised public transport system of buses, metro/underground lines and commuter rail lines as well as numerous companies providing private transport services. It is easy to reach locations throughout the city and surrounding areas.
At the Central Station you can catch long distance trains, buses, the underground trains as well as the Arlanda Express train, which takes you to Arlanda Airport in 20 minutes.
Stockholm Visitors Board sells a Stockholm Card which entitles you to free travel on the underground, local buses and local trains, free sightseeing by boat, free parking at all municipal meters inside Stockholm, free admission to 75 museums and attractions, and bonus offers and discounts.
The public transport company in Greater Stockholm, SL, offers conference delegates in Stockholm a special Congress Card for unlimited travel on the Stockholm area during their stay.
