We co-ordinate marketing initiatives for international meetings in Stockholm as well as provide support for planners - free of charge, of course. The Convention Bureau includes Congress Stockholm that works with association meetings and Meet Stockholm that works exclusively with the corporate meeting industry.

Stockholm hosts major neurological congress

The European Federation of Neurological Societies, EFNS, has recently decided that Stockholm will play host to Europe’s largest neurological congress in 2012.
“This is the first time that such a large neurological congress has been held in Sweden,” says Magnus Andersson, Chairman of the Swedish Neurological Society.

New major hotel & congress centre

A new hotel and congress centre is to be established in Stockholm adjacent to the Central Station. The hotel will have more than 400 rooms and the congress centre will have capacity for approximately 3,000 participants in theatre seating and 2,400 people in banquet seating.
The centre, which will have a grand view of the City Hall and the surrounding waters, will open in 2009.
