The National Museum´s magnificent building in Venetian and Florentine style from 1866 contains Sweden´s largest collection of older paintings and sculpture, handicrafts, drawings and graphics.
Modern Form 1900-2000 is a permanent installation and the museum´s latest addition which displays handicrafts and design from the 20th century. The emphasis is on Swedish design, and here the visitor meets design classics in the original.
